Baltimore Grand Prix 2011

Scott and I rode to the IndyCar race in Baltimore, Maryland in 2011.  We road most of the Blueridge Parkway and the entire length of Skyline Drive in Virginia before making our way to Baltimore.  We ate some great crab cakes in Baltimore.  The weather was great for the ride up to the race, but coming back tropical storm Lee dumped rain on us for most of the way.  We were soaked to the bone, as we rolled back into Hickory.  Or at least I was...Scott had on his Aerostich suit, but I was to yet invest in any really good waterproof riding gear.

Stopped for lunch at Freebornes before hitting BRP.

Unlike the Blueridge Parkway, there are gas stations on Skyline Drive
